Take a backwards time travel to 1955 at The Lemon Drop! Not much has changed since it was built. They are famous for their onion burger and with good reason. Great food at unbelievable price. My lunch was less than $10.00 and boy was it great! 1955 style handmade burgers. Go for onion rings too. AND, they have phosphates, the chocolate was divine. The service is hometown friendly and fast. I love the 1950's ambiance. You will too, especially if you're a boomer! I've been in twice in the last 9 days!

We decided to stop in Lemon Drop today, exceeded our expectations. Small, cute little diner with the best Halloween decor! Delicious, well priced food & sides. Came out very fast & everything was very fresh!

Yes! I love everything about this tiny, authentic, local historical diner. The diner is adorable, with many original vintage furnishings. The outside is bright yellow with a fantastic vintage sign. Inside, there are about a dozen counter stools and five or six booths. A toy train runs around the ceiling. The diner was decked out for Halloween with even a broom that magically "walks" around while you eat. We took seats at the counter. The menu specialty is the Onion Burger with 2 thin beef patties surrounding grilled onions. I ordered the Onion Burger with fries. The burger was delicious, not huge, but perfect lunch size. The generous portion of shoe string potatoes is easily sharable. My husband had the Breaded Tenderloin with lettuce, tomato, onions and mayo. He described his sandwich as fresh and delicious. Again, the sandwiches aren't huge, but perfect lunch size. The prices are incredibly reasonable. You can eat lunch for under $10. The staff is welcoming, friendly and attentive. Water glasses were kept full. Food comes out quickly. I was sorry to miss out on the fresh made fountain drinks. Next time! The parking lot is small, but adequate. Seating is a premium during peak times. The do a robust carry-out business. I'm glad I don't live closer, or I'd be here everyday.
